SHORT DESCRIPTION: A photographic series dedicated to the enigmatic gargoyles of the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toulouse — stone creatures clinging to the edges of time. Originally designed to channel rainwater, these figures have transcended their practical purpose to become symbols that watch, protect, and captivate. Gargoyles are more than ornamental sculptures; they are skyward guardians, silent witnesses to the centuries that have passed before their eyes. Their grotesque faces, fantastical forms, and tense postures speak to us from above. There is something deeply human in their presence — a desire to leave a mark, to warn others, to look upon the world from a place suspended between the sacred and the surreal. These frames invite silence. To lift your gaze. To observe. To see in stone something that also lives within us: resilience, mystery, and that quiet longing to remain.

– A separate Limited Series Edition of 5 complete sets is available, each set including all three prints.
